Quani C. You shall be missed, Room … sort of. And I went last night, again to see Pong, but also for their closing evening. Also, I missed most of the Pong show… as advertised, it looked like they were the closing band, but, alas it was not to be. Foot Patrol went on after them. Anyway, it was a pretty cool bar.
Bartenders are awesome, taking several orders from several people at once. I really enjoyed the layout, too. It was like having two separate bars in one. Like Mark L. Mark L. Before it closes next weekend, i wanted to say a few words about Room I have seen many memorable shows there over the years. It was one of the first places to open on Red River — at a time before it became a destination district.
Phil D. Funny — that Canned Hamm show mentioned in the bad review below actually had Czars on the same bill. Yeah, I left for the Canned Hamm set and came back for Pong. Hate B. One of my stops when I go out or go to work. Best of both worlds. Bartenders are cool and pretty quick to pour ya something. Trent R. Colleen B.
Great place to see live music. Jeremy W. Love this place. Karen S. Metal, punk who could ask for more!!! Corri M. Room , my home away from home. Nothing goes better with my heavily saturated rock and roll schedule like a shot of that stuff, and Craig the bar manager was gracious enough to order it for me. Holy run on sentences! Anyway, besides them having the awesome booze selection, this is where I go see most of the shows I check out. Metal and rock and roll in the same club?
Forget about it! The only downside? All hail, Kevin N. Almost like two bars separated by a middle bar in the round odd. And you can hang on the entry side, play video games or pool, check the artwork they have up, and hear the show going on fifteen feet on the other side of the wall. Sometimes less. Justin B. I got the high score on Centipede while Van Halen was playing. And it was… Good. Brian S. Its not a terrible place, but its just not really amazing either. Then, I try to find my friends.
Hmm, not on this side of the bar. Maybe they are on the other side.
