Sylvan Park Paideia Design Center. With my son in 4th grade last year and my daughter in kindergarten this year, both experiences have exceeded our expectations.

Dog Owners. Trulia User. Resident 1y ago. I feel safe and my neighbors are delightful. I will continue to live here. Commuting to downtown is very easy. Most apartment and condo buildings have dog runs and there are waste bags and waste cans within easy reach. I like living her anyway. There is a good community. I would recommend. Some areas are safer than others. Be aware street by street case. Hancock is a pretty good street.
Make sure kids know emergency protocols. Otherwise it is a safe cute neighborhood, very diverse ". Most families opt for private school if you can afford it. Be aware that tornadoes do hit East Nashville. I used to drive an hour each way bc of traffic!
Cars are broken into and there are not many people living here yet but this area will no doubt get built up with condos soon. There are no Grocery stores at this time. I call my condo the no friendo Condo.

You see people walking their dogs here all the time. We have a puppy and enjoy letting him meet the other dogs around the neighborhood.
